An excellent place: The apartment comfortably fits 4 people family in two separate bedrooms. In addition, it has a roomy well equipped kitchen and a nice living room. At the yard, there is a sitting area when you can enjoy fresh air. The apartment can be chilled using the 3 separate and quite air condition devices. The appliances and furniture are relatively new and very helpful (i.e. the washing machine). The area is close to city center (1.5KM) and eventually we concluded that the best beach for us is the nearby neighbored beach which is 500 meters from the apartment… Nearby there are two supermarkets and a very good bakery. I recommend you not to go to the two nearby taverns because in the city and outside it there are cheaper and better ones… The hosts are very friendly, kind and offer us any assistance we required. Bottom line: Highly recommended

A true Greek dream house! Spotless, cozy, and filled with a lovely scent – the perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are well laid out, with a beautiful living room that’s just right for family evenings together. The garden offers shade all day long – simply perfect for that first morning coffee in peaceful surroundings. The hosts are wonderful – kind, discreet, and always there if you need anything. Parking on the street is free and there’s always space available. Within just a 5-minute walk you’ll find three big supermarkets and the best bakery in town. The location is ideal for exploring Kavala itself, as well as driving out to the area’s stunning beaches. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything was perfect

Great house with all needed home appliances and kitchenware, very comfortable and perfectly clean. A very nice and cosy small courtyard for the morning coffees and the evening drinks. Easy and free parking. Two very good restaurants across the street and two big supermarkets at walking distance. One free beach at 10 minutes walking, a second free beach at 20 minutes walking and a very good organized beach (Batis) at 10 minutes by car. An easy 20-30 minutes walking in the evening to the pedestrians area, with several restaurants and bars and an exciting amusement/games park. Both the house itself and location are great and the hosts are unbelievable nice.

Absolutely wonderful place, the best we've been-location is excellent,very close to the sea alley, but very quiet at the same time. Surrounding area is very beautiful- small park in front and pine trees aside; few supermarkets and bakery around, nice restaurants. Walking distance to the center and old town, bus stop in front at the alleys, very easy to leave towards the nearby beaches; Was worried about the parking but absolutely no problem-there were always free spots. The house is very, very clean, equipped with everything you might need and so beautifully arranged and decorated. And our stay was so pleasant also due to the lovely hosts we had-they surprised us with delicious compliments and made us really feel like home. Thank you, it was our great pleasure to meet you and stay at your place.

Thank you, Smaragda’s Home, for hosting us this summer (August 2024)! A very cozy place with hospitable owners. Fruits and water awaited us when we arrived. A few days later the owners surprisingly brought us homemade desserts, which was so sweet! The place is very clean. You will find all needed kitchen stuff including coffee machine and oven. Cozy rooms and a small garden for a morning coffee. Free parking all along the street. 5 mins walk to the nearest free city beach. Thank you so much, guys, for our stay! We will definitely stay again in the future.

The best place you can stay with small children, especially if you are looking for quiete place and free parking. The hosts were very friendly and loving children, who welcomed us with a smile and lots of toys for our 1.5 year old son which made our stay easier. Moreover, cold bottle of water, chocolade, fruits and coffee was available on arrival. The rooms are very clean and everything looks new. The kitchen has all kitchen appliances (for coffee and cooking), cookware, plates and glasses and utensils. The living room is very stylish and there is also a smart TV. In the bathroom there is a washing machine, which we were using everyday. The garden is place to chill out or let your children play freely. We will definitely stay here again when visiting Kavala.
