Casa Veche Breb

We had the most wonderful stay at Casa Veche Breb! Ana was such a gracious and accommodating host. We are so glad we took her up on her offer for breakfasts and dinners. She put out huge, delicious breakfast spreads and yummy authentic 3-course dinners for us and we really enjoyed being able to spend time with her and her family. The location is idilyic and peaceful; the room is spacious and very comfortable. We felt like we'd made new friends and were sad to leave!

Fantastic hosts, welcoming, multilingual and providing excellent service. Located in a traditional house, our room was big, nicely decorated with local furniture and embroidery. The room was very clean and comfortable. The guesthouse is well located and silent at night. The host cooks very well. Both diner and breakfast were homemade with local products and delicious. Our best stay in Romania.

Ana was a gracious hostess. We had a cultural immersion sharing meals with her as she offered the opportunity of paying extra for breakfast and dinner. The traditional Romanian dinner was excellent. Our room was just like the pictures on the booking site.

Beautiful room appointed in traditional Romanian style in a picturesque village. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a great location for exploring nearby churches and monasteries. The absolute best thing about this place is the wonderful hosts. They made us feel very welcome and we loved talking with them over meals. We learned a lot about Romania and the traditional way of life in Maramures. The food was excellent and were among the best meals we enjoyed in Romania

We felt at home from the first minute. We absolutely recommend the host and location and we would definitely come back.
