Green view group of houseboats

I had an excellent stay at Green View Group of Houseboats on Dal Lake. The location is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of Kashmir. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the overall cleanliness of the houseboat was excellent. A special thanks to Mr. Farooq and his son, who were wonderful hosts throughout my stay. They were friendly, honest, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their warm hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The staff provided excellent service, and room service was always prompt and reliable. The Shikara ride arranged through them was one of the highlights of our trip. The pricing was fair, and the experience of exploring Dal Lake and the floating market was unforgettable. Everything from the location, cleanliness, hospitality, and service exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Green View Group of Houseboats to anyone visiting Srinagar. Thank you, Mr. Farooq, his son, and the entire team for making our stay so memorable. We will definitely stay here again!

Peaceful stay on dhall lake. Comfy rooms and very serene. Absolutely enjoyed being boats rides and travels to remote areas that brought out the best, non commercial aspects of the land and it's people.

Location could be better. Occasionally felt like traders were being quite pushy and and exploitative with their pricing. But otherwise was an overall amazing stay

I recently stayed at Green view and it was a genuinely great experience from start to finish. The check-in was fast and friendly, and the staff were welcoming in a way that made me feel immediately taken care of. My room was **spotlessly clean**, beautifully set up, and surprisingly quiet—perfect for sleeping after a long day out. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was modern and well maintained, and the little details (like fresh towels and thoughtful amenities) made the stay feel more premium than expected. Overall, the location was also convenient, with easy access to food and local attractions. If you’re looking for a hotel that’s **comfortable, well-run, and pleasant to return to**, I’d definitely recommend it.

El lugar es muy tranquilo , muy bien situado , todo muy cómodo y lo mejor de todo es sentirse como dentro de tú familia , Fasu y su padre te harán sentir como en tú casa . Excepcional 👌👌👌👌

Farooq and Fazian are amazing hosts, very welcoming, they make you feel like at home. The location is really nice, very quiet and after a short boat ride (2mins), is walkable to the center, to see the sunrise and other areas of Srinagar. There's a nice garden, which other house boats dont have, perfect to hang out, do yoga or just enjoy. If you are not willing to take a bucket bath make sure to rent the deluxe and not the budget rooms.

Everything was great

We felt at home away from home. Farook and his son took get care of us. House boat was neat and cosy. Farook Bhai had loads of wisdom and business knowledge to share with us. His story was inspiring and would like to visit again with my kids.
