CAGreat old house, fascinating maze of courtyards. Comfortable bed, good sized bathroom, effective and fast heating system, very spacious. Kitchen well equipped. Della is great - she got the brand new sauna going for us. Quiet area.
It’s listed as a one bedroom, but really a large bed sit with four beds and table and chairs. No ‘curl up with a book’ chairs.
DEBesser als im Auto geschlafen. Heizung war gut.
Ich kann die Unterkunft absolut nicht empfehlen. Es gab keine Instruktionen wo das Zimmer ist. Es ist ein riesiges Areal und wir waren in verschiedenen Nebengebäuden die alle nicht unser Zimmer waren. Telefonisch war niemand zu erreichen, irgendwann gab es per Sms Instruktionen. Das ganze Areal war dreckig, überall lag Müll scheinbar von einer großen Party. Eines der Betten im Zimmer war scheinbar schon (von einem feiernden Pärchen?) benutzt gewesen. Eine Tür vom war Küchenschrank ausgerissen. Scheuerleisten mit Bauschaum angeklebt. Steckdosen in der Küche zur Wand hin offen. Schimmelnder Mülleimer. Dreckige Stühle. Nie wieder!

GBWe enjoyed that it was clean, the location is beautiful & it was reasonable price. The kitchenette was well equipped & Fridge was a good size. It was wonderful to be able to share our stay with our dog
Sharing a room with a kitchenette with only a very small bin was difficult with 3 teenagers in our party. The compost bin on a small counter was half full of waste & was mouldy. It wasn't clear where a bin was available for our dogs waste.
IEIEThe loft was through a courtyard at the back of a big stately home that is used for Downtown abbey reenactments. Peacocks roaming around the court yard which was amazing to see. Straight up the steps and into the room. The accommodation has a double and three singles . Small kitchen to the left of the room and then a separate bathroom. Set out like a studio apartment.
Small touch like some drinking glasses .
IEGBLocation is amazing and only a short distance from Kells town. Surrounding gardens and fields were beautiful. Great for the dog to explore and the venue is dog friendly.
There was no wifi signal and even the telephone signal was weak. On the sit night it was raining heavily and we had to walk round to the main house which was booked for a private function to get enough signal to phone for a takeaway.
