The Crown Hotel

Comfortable accommodation in perfect location for us. Comfy beds and well stocked tea and coffee tray. Fabulous evening meal in the lively bar.

Shower pressure was a bit low but that is a minor issue.

Lovely quiet location I enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal Mother and daughter were very friendly. My drive here was very scenic I'll be happy to return here in the future.

Bel edificio storico e ottimamente mantenuto. Stanza di giuste dimensioni così come il bagno finestrato. Letto comodo. Scelta del cuscino. Assoluto silenzio la notte. Buona la cucina per la cena e ottima la colazione. Personale molto cordiale

Camera molto grande, pulita e silenziosa. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Il personale, sia al bar sia durante la colazione, sempre gentilissimo. Il loro ristorante serve dei piatti molto buoni e di qualità. Il parcheggio è comodo e la posizione è perfetta per raggiungere molti punti di interesse del parco naturale. La cosa migliore in assoluto però è stata il letto: molto grande e, soprattutto, comodissimo!

Comfortable friendly staff

Die Lage war für uns optimal, mitten im Exmoor; das Hotel und die Einrichtung typisch, das hat uns gefallen. Das Frühstück wurde an den Tisch gebracht, die Eier nach Wunsch zubereitet, frisches Porriges, einfach alles lecker und die nette Dame hatte immer Zeit für ein Gespräch.

Staff were friendly & helpful. The location was in a lovely peaceful village,locals were very friendly also Food was beautiful & tasty both the evening meal & breakfast Great to have local art dotted around which you could buy Will definitely return

Only minor detail was the bedroom was in need of a bit of tlc but didn't detract from the stay ,

Unfortunately the water was freezing cold so we couldn’t have a shower or bath We did try to ring down to tell them but no answer however he did refund us £30 but it sounds like there was quite a few complaints that day

Dinner was really tasty. Breakfast was excellent too. Room was well appointed and a very comfortable bed.
