Het huisje ligt op een geweldig mooie plek en is met liefde onderhouden. Je wordt omringd door een groene oase en veel vogeltjes. Eigen parkeer achter een gesloten hek.

Het was wat fris en vochtig in huis. Boven zijn er wel luikjes maar geen ramen erin.

Prachtige locatie midden in de natuur

Weinig daglicht in het huisje.

The property is located in a lush valley surrounded by impressive waterfalls and nature. If you are looking for a remote, natural setting in Madeira’s mountains, the scenery is quite spectacular.

Our stay at this property was unfortunately disappointing due to several maintenance and comfort issues. ​Facilities: Upon arrival, the shower drain was completely clogged, causing water to pool. Despite informing the owner, the issue was never resolved. ​Climate Control: The property was cold. The two small electric heaters provided were insufficient for a mountain house in this valley, making the rooms uncomfortable at night. ​Location & Access: Guests should be aware the house is located high in the mountains via extremely steep and narrow roads. Navigating this route in the dark felt unsafe and was a major stress each evening. ​Value for Money: Compared to accommodations in Santa Cruz—which offer better amenities, warmth, and accessibility for a lower price—this property offered poor value. ​Communication: Responses from the owner felt scripted and dismissive. They acknowledged the problems but offered no practical help. We felt forced to stay due to a lack of immediate alternatives but did not enjoy our time here. ​In summary: The combination of poor maintenance, ineffective heating, and difficult access made for a stressful experience. We would not recommend this location for those wishing to explore Madeira’s main attractions easily.

Piękny surowy kamienny dom w górach. Niezbędne wyposażenie dostępne w domku - przygotowane drewno do grilla/ogniska, Wygodne łóżko na piętrze, dostępne ogrzewacze powietrza - duży plus w zimę. W zasięgu marszu las Fanal. Będąc w domu widok na las Fanal od dołu, piękne mgły otaczające okoliczne wzgórza dodają klimatu.

Brak siekierki. Nie było czym porąbać drewna na ogień.
