The Grady Hotel

Great location close to the waterfront, charmingly restored. Friendly staff. Nice restaurant in the basement.

Walls are a little thin. Heard our neighbor coughing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Grady. The property is very beautiful and well-kept. An interesting combination of history and modern touches. My checkin with Kevin was excellent. I had several excellent meals at the Wild Swann restaurant below the hotel. Mark was a friendly and excellent server and made me feel right at home. The breakfast dishes I had were delicious. The location is quite good as well. It's walking distance to the Louisville Slugger museum, children's museum, and many restaurants and bourbon tasting rooms. I was born and raised in the south end of Louisville, and staying at The Grady was a welcome homecoming!

Parking is a bit of a challenge if you have a rental car and choose not to use the valet service. There is paid street parking. Also there are garages within a few blocks that are not super expensive. The hotel is in a cool historical downtown area and just not designed to have its own attached garage parking.

Central location, easy access, comfortable and charming rooms, great staff. Second time staying here on a cross country drive from the east coast.

Parking is a challenge if you have a large vehicle (2500 series truck with a bike rack)

The Grady is located central to so many great restaurants and attractions. It is also close to the Leadership Center, making it an ideal stay for conferences. I was able to leave my bags with staff and pick them up with my car following my work conference down the street. The hostess and valet were polite, friendly, helpful, and efficient. The hotel has so much charm and character. Rooms are small but don’t feel stuffy thanks to soaring ceiling heights. Robes and toiletries were an excellent touch.

No complaints at all! Ice availability on multiple floors would be nice but isn’t necessary.

Breakfast was awesome!!!! Valet was quick and easy.

The bedrooms are gorgeous and the big shower was to die for.,,the team on the restaurant / breakfast space were so welcoming it really made me feel at home.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at. The lobby and decor was amazing.

Fantastic Location, quiet, clean and comfortable. We highly recommend the nearby Mussel & Burger Bar. Ask about cocktail prices before ordering!
