Lovely olde fashioned pub/hotel Just to our taste

Excellent breakfast and also evening meal. Hosts really helpful and nothing too much trouble.

Room cleanliness was adequate but could have been better.

The room was huge and the beds were very comfy. There was no noise from the bar at all and it was nice to open the curtains in the morning and see the sheep in the field beside! The landlord was very welcoming and I appreciated the coffee in the morning.

The bathroom was nice and large however it was quite cold. Not really an issue though.

Nice countryside pub/hotel. Bed nice and clean and comfortable. 5min walk to centre of village

Location as family live in the village

Room was not clean, needed hoovered and dusted. Door came off dressing table when opened. Decor needs updating. Towels too small and old.

The staff were very pleasant and accomodating and the breakfast was very nice

The description online on Booking .com exceeds the property by a long way, it is little more than contractors accomodation in truth? We went out one night to return for a drink just after 9pm to find the pub shut ! fortunately we had a key to get in! I asked the following day and the reply was the staff clocked off at 9pm (they had guests staying and we were not advised of this)

Location ok

-room wasn't worth the money i paid, poor shower and cleanliness not up to standard. On the other hand my other family member who stayed there in another room for the same price, there room was actually better. -1 towel & 3 hand towels between me and my wife - toiletries very poor
