Modern Penthouse @ Sandcastles

Loved the modern look and design. The pictures, flooring and lighting accessories are beautiful. Very comfortable with large two bedrooms and bathrooms. Awesome housekeepers and maintenence support.

This apartment needs extra touches to add to the decor. Example: place shelving & towel racks in the main bathroom & a longer shower curtain. Kitchen is in need of coffee cups, sharp knives and glasses. The roof top area needs outdoor seating furniture. A drying rack or clothes line would be great too.

The location is close to shops and restaurants. It has security and is right on the beach.

The upstairs room and bathroom floor was not clean. There was hair all over the floor from what I assume was a previous guest. The comforter and the curtain upstairs were dirty! The downstairs bedroom had a leak. No storage whatsoever, except a closet rod in the upstairs bedrm. The lack of communication from the host was startling! The internet and cable went out all day on our 2nd day and no updates were provided.

The renovated penthouse is absolutely beautiful. The two level rooms with private baths is perfect for friends or two couples. The food in the restaurant is delicious. The bar has a great atmosphere and serves food. Great view of the ocean and cruise ship.

The lights flicker when off in the upstairs bathroom. The restaurant runs out of breakfast food very quickly. We had to go across the street for breakfast. The balcony was great and unfortunately there is no patio furniture.

Like the location of this place, close to everything in town. The place was spacious for our family.

The garbage was full when we got there and could have been cleaned a little bit better

The decor was lovely. The kitchen was fully prepped and ready for use. The beach in the property was a welcomed surprise.

The AC in the downstairs bedroom was not working and it became quite hot. Maintenance was not responsive until the owner called. The issue was not fixed regardless.

Didn’t purchase any breakfast

Loved the open plan kitchen and living space, the spiral staircase was definitely a beautiful feature

There were sugar ants in the kitchen even though there was no food or sugar upon our arrival, there was no water for a few hours on two instances, which meant we couldn’t use the WC facilities.

Not clean old building. Cheap furniture. Housekeeper didn’t answer at all.
