Central Galway House - Private Parking - Sleeps 7

It was very clean. Facilities were exactly what was needed. Location was perfect. 10 min walk to city Centre. 10 min walk to seafront. And quiet. Perfect for a family break.

Could have done with a coat hook downstairs.

Clean, Nicely decorated. Easy walk to town.

Front door was difficult to open.

The bathroom is problematic. The door handle is like opening a rusted gate- loud and awful. No bathroom hand soap provided. No toilet paper roll holder. Thin shower curtain and no towel or clothing hooks provided so the floors were wet post shower. Not one hook provided in the bathroom or in the bedrooms for all the towels. So many cupboards, but no hangers in the smaller double room. Would be great to provide coat rack when you enter. It is rainy in Galway, but no place to hang wet coats.

Location and having parking included were wonderful. Close enough to the city center but also close to grocery stores and quiet for evening.

It’s a good location in walking distance to Galway City Center. Unfortunately, the accommodations could use some updating. The coffee table was broken. The toilet seat was broken, the soap dispenser for the washer was moldy and the lights didn’t work when we first got there, although the management company fixed it the next day. The worst part was the bedding. While clean, they provided the most uncomfortable pillows and mattresses I’ve ever slept on. The pillows were more like thin slices of foam. The pictures of the accommodations are nicer than the reality. If you’re looking for a good location with parking and don’t care about comfort, this will do.
