Cuckoo's Corner

Location was great, property was easy to find. Hosts were friendly and helpful. The room had what we needed. View was incredible. everything was clearly labelled and easy to find.

We had cold weather, the place is fully tiled and didn't have any carpets/rugs to help make the space more cozy. Also, there was only 1 microwavable plate, which was inconvenient (other crockery were not microwaveable).

Nice price value. Helpful owners. Good stay for the night before entering cape town on a roadtrip

A quiet, self contained space in a lovely garden overlooking the mountains. 5 minutes drive to a selection of restaurants and 10 minutes to the Stony Point Penguins. A very well organised apartment - even my dad would be impressed. Comfortable and well thought out. The hosts live next door and made sure we had everything we needed then gave us privacy. A perfect balance. We didn't see any baboons in the garden unfortunately.

It is bittersweet to leave this review - I'd like to keep this gem a secret! But that wouldn't be fair... What magnificence and beauty! The hosts, Derek & Jenny went out of their way to make sure we were OK, and went above & beyond helping me (particularly) with the challenge of loading my motorbike on a transport trailer. They provided some travel tips and other insights. Further, it is clear they have given immense thought w.r.t. detail of their accommodation provided: everything is there, clearly labelled and even a proper inventory list is sent before hand. If you don't stay here, you only have yourself to blame!

If you really forcing me to find fault....the TV volume was kinda soft. But I wasn't there to watch TV!

Location was very central and close to the beautiful Harold Porter gardens in Betty's Bay. The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and clean, full of homely comforts. The bed was great and all amenities thought of. We can highly recommend Cuckoo's Corner.
