ILThe views, the owner, everything was clean and beautiful
Its a little bit far away from shops and restaurants but if you take a drive to the nearest supermarket and buy some groceries it’s perfect. If you are looking for some alone time its the best.
AUNew property, comfortable bed, great aircon, hosts welcoming, across from the beach. Lovely new bathroom with hot shower. Small kitchenett and fridge making it a great spot if you stayed for a week.
Would have been a 10 but booked and paid for the more expensive upstairs room and got the cheaper downstairs one - was still a nice room though. MHIay just be new property teething issues but we would stay here again.
CHMinindu is a great host and puts a lot of effort into the two flats. You don't really want for anything here. It has a small kitchen, a fridge and a brand new air conditioning system that you can hardly hear. It also has a TV, but I didn't try it out. Unfortunately, apart from the beautiful beach on the doorstep in Kudawella, there isn't much in the way of restaurants and the like. But Hiriketiya is not far away and you can also order food and drinks from the owner, which is served on the private terrace overlooking the sea. In a few years' time, Kudawella will certainly be well developed, and it is making every effort to do so. The beach has wonderful surf waves and the surf camps train here every day. His brother is a surf instructor and his father has a boat in the harbour, which he is happy to show you. In the future there will be two more flats on the property as well as a beer bar. I loved it and immediately extended my stay for another day.
