Temple Town Inn

My first international trip as a solo traveler, and I had a wonderful experience at Temple Town Inn. I loved the amazing views from my terrace, the delicious coffee, and the warm hospitality. The staff go above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and welcome. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kathmandu! 😊

Top location in Thamel. Very kind staff. Very good value for money.

Some problems with hot water. No housekeeping nor change of towels for ten days.

All staff members were candid, friendly and accommodating. Room looked out into a beautiful garden where the poinsettias were in full bloom <3 Breakfast was superb--I couldn't ask for more. Location is in the heart of tourist town--reminded me of Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley haha! I loved going around and if you're adventurous, you can easily hail a motorbike to go wherever you want.

There was a neighbor who burned yard trash (from the lovely garden) and the smoke was really heavy. My room was directly overlooking the yard. Luckily, staff came to deliver room service and I think they requested the neighbor to put it out because the smoke stopped in an instant.

Иногда может быть шумно, тк нет звукоизоляции. Окна выходят во двор, поэтому нет основного шума с улицы, но периодически щвуки улицы слышны, а также звуки из коридора. Вода была не горячая, но, возможно, я не разобралась, как ее включать:)

The room and bathroom are clean and they provide water bottles in the rooms. The reception was always friendly. The rooftop is really nice for having lunch or just evening beer. The location in Thamel is very good.
