Then Pa village

Far more than just a room while doing the Ha Giang Loop. We booked this place not knowing that the accommodation was part of a Hmong Village. We were pleasantly surprised by high quality of the room, its view of the temple and rice fields, as well as the traditional BBQ meal in the evening underneath the giant flag. It was clear the Hmong villagers genuinely liked what they were doing there, had pride in their village and and enjoyed themselves while putting on a show in the evening at dinner time. You could feel the love and happiness in this village. Thank you for a great experience.

Dinner was craaazyyyyyy expensive! And we didn't know until we checked out.

Awesome local experience, great tea and soup on breakfast

The garden area were the plus. The location is perfect as you can see the flag tower right above the homestay. you can have good shots if you are the fan of selfie. The homestay is a true ecolodge as it is designed as a mixture of local people living area and the room for tourist. Although the host tried their best, the castle farm was still quite smell and you should expect it when you arrive. For us it was fine because it was the nature of local living style and we know it. I was surprise as our kids did not complain. We have a good time in Then Pa village.
