BEOur two‑night stay at Quinta de São Francisco House was truly unforgettable. The property is an oasis of calm, set in the middle of its own vineyards and lush gardens — an enchanting little paradise where time seems to slow down. The welcome was warm and heartfelt, setting the tone for a beautiful stay. The rooms are spacious, tastefully minimalist, and impeccably designed, with a wonderfully silent air‑conditioning system. Each room comes with its own terrace, perfect for enjoying the serenity of the surroundings. Guests are free to wander through the vineyards and gardens, where a small but beautifully maintained pool adds to the charm. A standout moment was the wine tasting hosted by Sonia’s partner — a passionate winemaker who shares his craft with generosity and depth. Our conversation was fascinating, and the wines themselves are of remarkable quality. Another delight of staying here is the proximity to excellent restaurants within a 20‑minute drive. The Michelin‑starred Mesa de Lemos offers an unforgettable culinary experience, while Sítio Santar, led by a former chef from the Mesa de Lemos brigade, serves refined cuisine full of character.

O alojamento estava impecavelmente limpo e muito bem equipado. É o local perfeito para descansar, desligar da rotina e desfrutar da autenticidade da região de Viseu.
