The B&B was just as described: homely, comfortable, individual and non-corporate. Our room was comfortable, with coffee and tea-making facilities, plenty of storage, a lovely farm view and a spacious bathroom. It felt like visiting a family home, with kind hosts, and George & Anne were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Breakfast was leisurely and plentiful. My husband ( who likes that kind of thing!) said the black pudding was the best he's tasted in the UK. I loved the teapot!

Lovely farm cottage in a beautiful location.

Bumpy driveway but in the properties defence I was in a sports car! Probably ok in a regular car.

Quiet location was perfect & Ann and George are a lovely, friendly couple that make you feel like you're visiting family or friends, rather than staying in a B & B. Added bonus (for my wife) of dogs & cats to fuss!!

Having to go home!

The hostess was very welcoming and informative. The breakfast was very good and if you're lucky you'll be offered some fruit loaf when you arrive. The room is comfy and good for the price.

Nothing really. Some people may think it could be more.modern but we liked it as it was.

Beautiful cosy room with a fantastic view from the bedroom. Ann was a lovely host and did a fantastic breakfast. Only a 5minute drive from Helmsley town centre.
