Good location, good value for money

You dont have natural light at all, it is very difficult to open the door ( is old and unefficient), not all the electronics work, the owner was not very helpful.

Location was good. that’s about it.

- no natural light.. - owner ask MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY for the city tax (9 euros) and then comes in the morning knocking on the door to get it (after I told her I will leave it in the flat). - door super hard to lock and unlock - entrance looks like a construction site

clean, comfortable bed, neat bed linen and nice towels very well equipped kitchen, basically there was everything we needed. If we were missing anything the host brought us, we didn’t have to wait as they stay in the same building wifi was ok for laptop

we had difficulties with checking in, host wasn’t answering the phone so make sure you have internet to text them via booking app. they replied immediately so finally we got into apartment. What’s more, they speak only italian, so you either understand them or understand nothing some sockets are old and not working (we couldn’t iron inside the wardrobe)

The first entrance to the tenement house was a surprise because inside it is like being renovated but there is no renovation :-) And this is a meeting with a real Palermo, without pink glasses. In the yard there is a pleasant smell of incense sticks and although the walls are completely scratched and crumbling, it is interesting. The apartment itself is very clean, equipped with everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. Very comfortable and spacious. Nice bathroom. Location a dozen or so minutes from the very center and the fair, you can easily walk everywhere. But there is peace and quiet. Around local restaurants and cafes. There is a lot to choose from. There is a supermarket and stalls selling fruit and vegetables. There is everything you need. It is also convenient that the bus from Trapani stops right in front of the apartment.
