Clean and comfortable, very well equipped with everything we needed including laundry facilities.

I didn’t realise this was an unstaffed self-serve property, so there were no on site staff to help us with questions about transport, food and attractions in the local area.

Beautiful Hanok close to the Gyeongbukgong Palace (20 min walk). Place suited a family of 5 and still allowed for privacy. It had great facilities and tools, super neat and clean.

Such a pretty lovely house located right at Sejong Food Street where there are tons of eateries filled with locals eating drinking, having their rounds 2, 3, just like in Kdramas. Something in the Rain was filmed here & it's a stonethrow away from Gyeongbukgong & Tosokchon. The house is very newly renovated, we even settled most of our laundry here to reduce the load when we get home, they even have games for us to play together. When we went to collect our luggage before heading to the airport, even though they were cleaning, they actually offered to make a cup of hot tea for my mum but just then, our ride came. Touched by their hospitality too! Highly recommended!

The property was located in the heart of the food district, so it was very easy to get lunch/dinner via walking distance in a quiet property.

The host is a scammer. Despite documenting the right number of guests in the booking, the owner locked out the last bedroom in the property and demanded we pay an additional 50000W to unlock it in cash. We called him and he started gaslighting us about how we were the ones who made the mistake despite his fine print not clearly mentioning this detail (it just says only "one part of the house" will be unlocked). After the call, he proceeded to change the fine print (now it says "5 people" instead of 4 to contradict my original booking) during out stay so that booking.com would side with him with any complaints I brought upon him. . It was very clear he knew what he was doing to skimp us of more money in a way that would not create a paper trail, so honestly, if you want to stay in Seoul without headaches, I would avoid this property at all costs. . Edit: The host's response is another example of him gaslighting his customers. He knows he's lying. We did read everything, and the host tried to change the listing to garner more money from his customers after the fact.
