The space was awesome! It was Japanese chic. Kitchen had everything. The bathroom was a real showstopper. The wooden tub/ shower area was beautiful. Unfortunately, I did not get to try the bathtub. We really wanted to but it had been raining and we all wanted hot shower asap! Very close to sake breweries and morning market. Side note: We did do laundry and it is an all in one machine. It worked beautifully.

The only thing that I would of preferred is more space where the tatami mats were. We were pretty tight together. There was an extra side room attached and I would of rather one of the beds to go in there.

Everything was made outof wood, with tatami flooring. I still wonder how you can have a bath tub made from wood

My stay at this traditional Japanese ryokan was exceptional. The place was impeccably clean, incredibly peaceful, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities.

The place was beautiful! It is a modern apartment made in the traditional Japanese style… with all modern conveniences. Everything looked brand new and it was super clean. The hosts also left special touches like slippers, tea, sweats, and already made futon beds. The host also communicated well and timely when we reached out. The location is fantastic… right by the library and very close to the old town. Very comfortable and in a very quiet setting with great views out of the very large windows and sliding glass doors.

I can’t think of a thing. It was fantastic.

Very nice riyokan. Our family enjoyed it a lot. The checkin with tablet was easy and went very well. The support from the owner was very good : we call late 1st night to understand how to get hot water and received immediately the answer. I definitely recommend and we will come back with pleasure.
