Very clean and tidy with everything you would need. Very quiet location and centrally located for the Monsal trail

The WiFi was very weak and phone signal wasn’t good either but might depend on the network you’re with

"Fantastic choice!"

This holiday home is just fantastic. The Barn has been lovingly renovated and furnished, everything is super clean and tidy, furnishings like new and the modern shower very good. There is everything you could need in the kitchen area along with a couple of 'extras' left by Fran - the owner. This lady has really given a lot of thought to the place and we couldn't have wished for a better stay. We had 6 days to visit friends and family in the area plus doing a bit of walking and sightseeing, the Barn was a perfect base for all of this. Fran is very friendly and helpful, she lives just behind the Barn so can be reached day and night if necessary. Wormhill (classed as Millers Dale but is a mile up the road from there) is a small village which has some wonderful walks and fabulous scenery. The church and Hall are worth a look and Chee Dale is one of the prettiest areas in Derbyshire. I have given this the top rating but if I could I would have given it more, it really is worth every penny and more!

lovely peaceful location with stunning views. The Barn was really well equipped and beautifully decorated great attention to detail. Particularly appreciated the little extras like milk, butter tea coffee and even some bakewell tarts being provided

Beautiful, peaceful location and perfect for a stay with dogs. Lots of space and studio is beautifully presented and well equipped. A real home from home and convenient for exploring everywhere in the national park. We totally relaxed and switched off. Perfect stay. Incredibly clean throughout too. Good shower too! We’ll be back!
