"Loved it, was so peaceful, neighbour was also very helpful. Can't wait to go again"

9.0

Loved the location and charm of the place.

Needs a couple finishing touches with paint, around radiators, hinges ext. Also spelling mistake on toilet sign. Septic not sceptic tank.

"Love it here"

10.0

We loved Bella's cottage. It was perfect for us (2 adults and a 3 year old). The cottage is really well equipped and well located. The neighbour told us about the safe path to walk along the river and straight to the Red Lion Pub and Stiffkey Stores. Wells next the Sea is so close by and we had loads of fun at the Roarrr park about a 40 min drive away and on the mini train at Wells. I was apprehensive about the parking situation as I read that the off road parking was on a first come first serve basis, but actually, it was just easier for us to park on Greenway and it wasn't an issue at all. I would love to return.

With a toddler, I would have appreciated an earlier check in time than 5pm, just so that we could get settled and iron out any issues with the cottage, if need be, before bed time. I received an email which said that they couldn't accommodate an earlier check in, so I didn't bother to ask.

"Cute, comfy and cosy cottage"

9.0

Super cosy, perfect location and everything you needed had been thought of. Hard to find anything to dislike!

My only quibble would be the late check in. 5pm feels much later on a cold, dark December night

"Beautiful cosy cottage in a great location"

8.0

Great location with fabulous pub a short walk up the river. Lovely welcome package and wood for the log burner. Huge double wardrobes in main bedroom very useful for storing suitcases etc. Beds comfy, well maintained garden - would be lovely in summer. Location excellent. Parking is fine but you do have to walk past four cottages with all your stuff to get to the house from the parking so one to bear in mind.

No dishwasher. We were there Christmas week and there’s not much space to put everything when washing up. Also small fridge for a week’s food. For a week, for three adults, the cottage was a bit on the small side for the price we paid £1100. We paid a premium for Christmas week of around £400-£500 extra. I don’t think the cottage was big enough to take this sort of uplift price wise, especially as we were not using the garden etc in winter. We also booked through a travel agent so I realise an amount goes to them. I think for a couple and small child or for 2-3 nights it would be fine, it’s because we booked it for a week.

Very cosy

Probably could have done with a stronger light to read by at night in the sitting room
