Central Skipton - Devonshire Court Apartments

Great location

The location was excellent. Close to town centre. The apartment was good. Very spacious and had everything one needed.

The noise from the bar downstairs was intolerable. Whilst noise from a bar can be expected, the boom boom noise was so loud all night long, on both nights, that it ruined my stay.

Loved the location. It's perfect for having a walk round the town. Great sized appartment. The car park was very close and free.

The communication wasn't very good before we arrived. I was told which appartment I was in (as there were 2) or where to get the key. The bathroom smelt a little bit fusty and the tiles in the shower were quite black with mold. Some Dettol mold and mildew will sort that out. 😉👍🏻 The temerature of the apartment was too hot for us but we couldnt find any instructions how to adjust the controls.

We used the apartment as a base for the Yarndale event taking place over the weekend. Excellent location, very central. Close to shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Very comfortable apartment, great facilities. Warm and cosy. Comfortable bed. Everything lovely and clean. Would definitely book again.

We loved the location and everything in the apartment was smart and clean.It all looked very new. We will definitely book it again.

Although the apartment was great there were a couple of things that would improve things. Some hooks, in the entrance area, would be useful for hanging outdoor coats up and maybe one in the bathroom to hang towels up, as well? There was no bread knife so attempting to cut a loaf with a regular dinner knife was a bit difficult !!
