Beachfront Bliss at Isla Verde

It was very clean and had everything we needed at a very good price.

It was a little bit of a walk to get to our room with all of our luggage.

We were travelling home the next day back to the UK so the location was perfect for us. 3 mins away from Sixt car hire where we needed to return the car and then a short shuttle to the airport. The apartment building has a private entrance straight onto the beautiful Dorado Beach. I saw the most beautiful sunset for the last night. The apartment was spacious and clean and the host was responsive and very helpful. There is a car parking space with the apartment which was great for us as we are driving.

Although the apartment is conveniently located to the airport, this also makes it quite noisy with all the air traffic. The host kindly provided some ear plugs but it is advisable to bring your own good quality earplugs for a good night sleep. I had my own earplugs but my partner did not and she didn't sleep well at all.

Comfortable and beach access

Some minor issues with things needing repaired. Blinds above bed didn’t work, for example. Building elevator was not working when we left.

Sandra was very responsive and we received all the information we needed. Very accurate and timely.

The second bed was a trundle bed, and only one bath - not the best for two couples. But would be great for a family with a couple of children.

The location on the beautiful beach was perfect and close to the airport which was convenient. The host was amazing and helped us with everything from beach chairs and transportation.

You can hear airplane traffic at night, which we were aware of before booking.

This is a great location. My college aged son and I did a quick trip for his spring break and didn’t rent a car so appreciated being a quick Uber ride from everything! Sandra was a great host and thought of everything. I was glad I had read a previous review about the plane noise because I like my own gel eat plugs but Sandra provided sets in case you didn’t plan ahead. Slept like babies in the comfy beds. The beach is great (between the Marriott and the Ritz so you know it’s good). A quick walk to the grocery store and restaurants was appreciated too!
