Confortable bungalow, we booked one without private bathroom and surprisingly it had one :)

It's near the beach, just have to cross the street, but if you are looking for sea-view rooms it is not your place. For the rest,. everything perfect!

"A nice and friendly hotel close to the beach."

8.0

A very nice hotel with a good atmosphere. A small pool but the ocean was just outside the door. The beach just next to the hotel was not perfect, a bit much stones and some glass. Just a short walk north or south the conditions were exceptional. South we found a busy beach where the dhows landed the mornings catch of fish. A Bon Dia to people you meet that you meet is returned and with a smile. Mozambiquans seem to be a friendly people. Beds were a bit too firm, but all rooms were nice, simple and clean. Friendly staff and a charming hotel owner. We were picked up at the airport and he were given some good tips on where to go and what to visit. In town the market is wort a visit, especially the more hidden parts. People were friendly and price negotiations were less necessary the further away from the big market street you came. A trip to Bazaruto is recommended, but do not visit two mile reef at high tide for snorkeling, only for scuba diving. Make sure to visit only at low tide, else the current and waves are too high. Mozambique waste disposal have some improvement potential. Streets are kept clean every day by people removing dust and litter. Outside of the streets the litter sometimes pile up, not a pretty sight. If you are into horseback riding, make sure to visit Pat and Mandy in Mozambique Horse Safari.

Prices on home page do not reflect pricelist in the resturant. We were charged 600 metical for breakfast, not 250 as it is stated at the hotels home page.
