Such a peaceful and beautiful area. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you would need for a weekend getaway. Comfortable, clean, cozy! The staff are so friendly and accommodating!

The location was perfect. It was as peaceful as I hoped it would be. I wanted a place that is remote but comfortable

I rented two units from Friday to Sunday. On arrival from our drive on Saturday we found one of the units locked and could not gain access for almost an hour while waiting for the host to come back and re-open. He had come during our absence and locked it, unaware that we had left the keys were inside the unit. I found it disappointing that one of the units did not have a heater and there were no extra blankets provided. These issues need to be attended to, given that temperatures can plunge during winter in the Midlands. There were no kitchen swabs provided, which are essential for dish washing in a self-catering unit.

Beautiful location. The wood supplied for the fire was a nice touch and the fire warmed the entire cottage perfectly. The wifi worked very well and the speed was surprisingly good considering the location.

A microwave would be an extremely valuable addition. Comfy cushions for the four chairs would be great too. The chairs were very uncomfortable to sit in for longer than a few minutes.

The location was beautiful. The deck overlooking the water was lovely. The wood supplied for the fire place were more than enough. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms well equipped and comfy.

We would have appreciated a carpet and sectional couch in the living room. The chairs were not comfortable and the bare floor very cold. Electrical blankets for the beds would be good.

Amazing staff and facilities

Amazing quality family time and great views. Fishing was great, house is great and location is great.

The kitchen was badly equipped. Crockery and kitchen utensils needs a proper update and basics not in place.
