Gezellig appartement in de mooie oude binnenstad van Alkmaar

The location was amazing, the apartment had some fun decor, and the shower was a good size and great water pressure. There were towels, extra blankets, and pillows provided as well as a hairdryer. The location is great as it is close to several restaurants, bars, and 20 minutes walk to the local train station.

My only main complaint is the cleanliness could be a bit higher, and the apartment itself was hard to navigate to following the official address on the listing. There is a separate address to collect the keys from the dropbox, which this door will lead you to the accommodation. This could be made clearer on the arrival instructions.

Ruud is a wonderful Host, and i love staying at his Flat. Alkmaar is a wonderful gem of a place which I don;t think many people know about!

It is very central. The bed was comfortable.

Ruud de host heeft ons hartelijk ontvangen en het appartement inclusief gezellig buitenterras en grote woonkamer laten zien. De locatie is top, helemaal in het centrum terwijl toch lekker rustig. Fijn tweepersoons bed en het was schoon en gezellig ingericht met dimbare lampjes en vele interessante boeken.

Geen verbeterpunten, voor ons was het perfect!

Love the location of this property, such a beautiful part of the old town. Our hosts are so friendly and welcoming! It’s always a pleasure to see them. I came with my daughter this time and she absolutely loved it.
