Amble Inn Motel

Unit was perfect for our needs, we were brother and sister attending a funeral in Levin. It had the 2 separate beds, as required, clean and comfortable. The complex is a little tired but the owners are in the process of rectifying that. We thought it was good value. Levin is on a main highway but I slept just fine.

Easy to find.

Owner/Manager was great! I left something behind and she phoned me to let me know, this was outstanding, because often this doesn't happen. It was clean and tidy also

The property was very dated, and could do with a revamp and maybe and a way to cook a simple meal would be welcomed also. Including a fan would be a big bonus.

It was very clean and the lady that checked us in was very kind and obliging

I think they should tell you there is a major train line behind the motel, just to make you aware and when the nearness and sound of the train suddenly comes upon you it’s not such a shock, as it was for me the first time. You aren’t expecting it and initially it’s super loud and a little scary.

It was very clean and while simple,more than adequate.The dog was not only welcome.there was a little gated strip for pets behind the motel and even dog treats.

Location

The bathroom was clean but very old and dated. The shower head had to be positioned so that the water didn't spray all over the floor next to the toilet, which it did. The lamp next to the bed didn't work. No safety latches on windows to leave them open at night to allow fresh air in.
