GBWe stayed at Hinoki retreat last night, and I couldn’t be quick enough to write our review. We booked our stay with a proper retreat in mind, and that’s exactly what we got but with added luxury. Laura & Ben have thought about every little thing, from power banks to charge phones/items & indoor lighting despite it being an electric free site. The wood store is a lovely touch and to be able to still have a private toilet and shower facility. Everything was spotless & clean. The traditional hot tub was a fantastic luxury and we really took in the quiet. There are sometimes weddings held nearby the site and the music does go on until midnight, however this didn’t bother us to be honest! (This is made clear on booking!) We enjoyed having to think about different things and work as a team, one of us in charge of fires and one of us in charge of washing up/ boiling water on the stove to be able to wash up. We are already making plans to return next year! ⭐️
There wasn’t anything we disliked specifically, but the bass from the music from the weddings being held does go on until midnight, this is clearly stated upon booking and there are ear plugs provided. But it really didn’t bother us as we knew prior.
GBGBamazing hosts and were absolutely wonderful! came all the way to the site just to give me and my partner a hand lighting the fire and gave us a later check out since we didnt use the hot tub yet. ALSO! amazingly comfortable bed…like insanely comfortable - such good sleep

GBWasn’t anything to not like , it was clean comfortable and warm, away from the hustle and bustle of life. Space to really switch off and enjoy the sounds of nature and the views 😊

GBThe hot tub and the view were amazing! We had everything we needed! The shower and toilet were immaculate! The battery powered lights were great!!
We find it a little difficult to heat the pod up and keep the hot tub hot. But that’s for us to learn for when we return! I would have liked a couple of blankets.
