Beautiful lodge in a perfect location.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this property

Nothing! It was lovely!

Stayed on this park a number of times, the lodge had good facilities inside, a hot tub and nice decking.

This lodge is at the back of the country park and right next to the main road which meant we could hear traffic constantly. There was no lighting outside so you couldn’t see anything on an evening in the hot tub, the steps into the hot tub were also over the pathway to the car parking which meant i tripped over them at least twice in the dark. There’s also no garden where the main door was, it just opened out onto a concrete floor I guess where other lodges had been before.

Lovely location, complimentary Prosecco biscuits and crisps left for arrival.

Fan on oven was pretty loud, could do with some oven cleaner to be left to clean after cooking. Privacy boards would be needed if there were to be more lodges around however given its quiet and the lodge behind is vacant it didn’t bother us.

Good property and a great size for us. Very homely ,clean and liked the location of the country park. Had everything we needed inside and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Enjoyed the hot tub. Crazy horse saloon very nice for food and drinks.

Outside patio area could do with a little TLC and thought some screening round hot tub would be good if lodges behind occupied. A Mirror would be useful in twin room to do hair makeup etc as only other was in main bedroom and awkward to share with friends staying in that room.

The lodge was lovely. Complimentary basket and kids easter eggs a thoughtful touch. The crazy horse is a little expensive for meals and you need cash only for the arcade bit downstairs.

Only negative would be hot tub could do with some privacy fencing and the site itself could provide some extra fencing to stop some noise from the A1 which is straight outside the lodge so passing traffic pretty much all night. OK if you're a heavy sleeper though.

How spacious the lodge was and everything you need is there also hot tub was bonus

Wi-Fi for to was not good could do with an update also no tv in bedroom but sockets all set up for one. Lodge right near main road so traffic kept us awake all through the night
