Whitehall Square Apartments- Queen's Quarters

Excellent location, very spacious and comfortable. Directions to getting into the property were spot on and I'd have no reservations about booking this apartment again.

Spacious apartment; having two bathrooms was very good; thevtwo frying pans were in good condition; the location makes it easy to get to popular destinations

Double duvet was very used, composed of absorbent material and smelled of hair oil; the only two saucepans had eroded surfaces not safe to use for cooking; collecting the keys from the lock box in darkness is not the best experience because of its location

The location is really good, central to the city centre. Parking on site is really handy as we had 3 kids with us and I am 5 months pregnant. The board games available was a nice touch for the kids which they enjoyed.

We ended up leaving without staying at around 11pm because there is a really bad damp/mould problem at the apartment. The bedroom with the double bed has it particularly bad and the smell was awful. Given I am pregnant, it was not a risk worth taking to sleep there as it can be so dangerous. The cleanliness of the property was not good. There was no bin bag in the kitchen and rubbish from previous guests at the bottom. There were stains on the sofa under a blanket used on top. Overall, cleanliness was not up to scratch.

Good location and excellent price

The apartment was filthy dirty when we arrived and completely unsatisfied with the cleaning . The refrigerator was not wiped clean, the floors were dirty, it smelled musty, glasses and mugs in the press were dirty with hairs in the bowls, dirty tissues in the lockers and rubbish still in the bin. Could not reach the managers via mobile. Emailed them and they responded they were on holiday making a connection to send photos so they could tell the cleaner. We could not wait for a cleaner as we have a child with special needs/sensory issues and needed to accommodate him ASAP. Photos were sent on email and through whats app and manager claimed they were not received. We had to find another accommodation to stay last minute. We requested a refund and have not heard back. Update: heard back and they refuse to give refund since we left a poor review. In addition, it is clear that they have no understanding or compassion about having a child with special needs. We are still waiting to hear from booking.com.
