The location was perfect and the food was great. We were made to feel at home by the staff.

Extremely comfortable rooms. Delicious food at reasonable price. Excellent & extensive drinks menu. Lovely location with convenient parking. Manager and staff were so friendly, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Recommended highly

Dark dismal room,noisy from traffic,bed creaked with every "normal" movement.

Our room was incredible! Unlike any accommodation we have stayed in before. I couldn't stop taking photos of it. It was very spacious, boldly decorated - don't want to give too much away as it's nice to be wowed on arrival. Had 4 large windows, snug seating, fresh milk, good shower. Bar/restaurant had a great buzzy informal but very comfortable vibe. Staff were all great. Hearty quality meals (dinner & breakfast). Lovely town & surroundings.

Only to mention that the parking app (Council run - nothing to do with the venue) was frustrating on arrival. Local traffic noise, but only to be expected for a central position & offset by the fab accommodation!

No bedside table. Reading in bed was restricted, and clock, pills (!) had to go on floor.

Clean , staff great , very helpful , lovely breakfast, very nice room

Parking , council run behind pub , so depending when you visit can be full so hard to find parking space
