The food was plentiful especially the evening meal and a reasonable price for the quantity

As an octogenarian the staff could not have been more kind and helpful. Totally amazing. The shower room was fantastic. Breakfasts were brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming.

Early morning heavy vehicle traffic was a problem but they did warn me. The room was small but adequate for my short stay.

Friendly staff and well maintained property. Excellent restaurant service.

Room was a bit on the small side, no drawer space for clothes at all. Shower display was defective but the shower itself worked very well otherwise.

Friendly staff and great breakfast. Comfy bed and fabolous bathroom. Quirky little place.

Being right on the road, it was a bit noisy first thing in morning.

Great location for what we were after. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The room was very clean and nicely decorated, the bed comfortable and the bathroom had a lovely large walk in shower. A mini fridge with milk and water was much appreciated. We managed to secure the sofas in front of the log burner for the evening and had a lovely cosy evening in the pub.

As we’d seen from other reviews our room was right above quite a busy road so traffic noise is something to consider if you’re not used to that. A little niggle as the room was lovely but the metal bed frame was very squeaky every time one of you moved so some WD40 might be a quick fix for a more restful night.
