The Windy Roost

Given that we knew it was a small space we were worried we would feel cramped but the owners have made excellent use of the space and you have everything you could possibly need. The outside space was also fantastic and well kept.

The place was spotless and very well-maintained, with excellent facilities. The host and their family were genuinely kind, down-to-earth, and made our family feel completely at home. Their warmth and hospitality really made our stay special.

We loved the location - just a little off the main road and down a quiet path so no traffic noise. Loved the amenities, everything you need! Beds are so comfy and more than plenty space for my partner and I. Bit of a shame that we couldn’t use the fire pit due to the rain but that’s just Scottish weather at its finest!

Such a lovely, quiet location and close to Lybster which has a small grocery store. The hosts are on-site, and we met Pete, who was so kind and helpful. The space is small, but laid out efficiently. We loved the treats that the host left for us :) Thank you, Pete, for your kindness!

The bunk beds would be best for only children - not so comfortable for an adult.
