The apartment was quiet, and very close to the center of Pylos. It was equipped with most basic furniture and kitchen appliances. It was warm (we visited during Christmas) which was a big plus. The friendliness of the host was great. He even treated us with some home made wine, which added to the experience.

The only thing worth improving is the bed. The mattress was soft but the bed kept making loud noises with every little move we made, making it hard to sleep. This needs to be addressed.

It’s not a massive deal but one of the nights we wanted to chill with a movie on the couch, and the television doesn’t have Netflix or prime even though it’s on the remote

Location, helpful advice and local on street parking in Oct, hot water and cooking arrangements, excellent little sitting out area, overall quiet at night

Sqeeky bed

The property had a seperate bedroom and a front seat to sit outside.

Come from Australia with 60 kgs of luggage. Nowhere did it mention there are hundreds of steps to get to the apartment. There was no proper address just coordinations. Very poor. It mentions it’s a 7 minute walk but it took us 40 mins to get our luggage to the house by foot which mentions nowhere it has stairs galore. The roads had steep hills and has 3 lots of 50 steps minimum. The roads are so uneven the luggage wheels were struggling. We couldn’t find the house and once we found it the front steep yard was a real hard challenge to walk up. There is no way children or elderly would be able to walk up to the house. It was a 37 degree day and it was excruciating. When we arrived the house smelt and was dirty. We had to mop and clean everything. The washing machine door does not open as damaged and so it was unoperational. The iron was burnt damaged. The ironing board was dangerous as it would not stand as it was shaky. The shower was the type with the shower head for the feet only. You have to hold shower head while curtain sticks to your body. It is a 70s treasure trove with the decor and kitchen cabinets. The photos are deceiving it’s very worn and tired. The wifi did not work as had wrong wifi instructions. The owner only speaks Greek and very hard to communicate but finally figured it out. Wanted to check out asap as soon as I walked in but there was no other accommodation available. Very disappointing.

Excellent apartment with everything.

Access/parking not convenient. Had to search for parking. Bed slats loose so very noisy when any movement. Keeps waking you up.

It is a lovely little place, bottom floor of a 2 storey block. It has a really generous sized main room with kitchen area, table & chairs, & a sofa-bed. There's a separate double-bedroom, & separate bathroom. It's tastefully decorated, & reasonably well-equipped. Outside is a large patio with table & chairs, & a washing line.

It is hard to find, & there is no parking. It's also at the top of Pylos, & Pylos is built into a mountain-side, so it's a steep drop down to the town centre, & quite a haul back up again.
