The Little Mews

Location was perfect for what we needed. The room was very clean and finished to a high specification. The host was really helpful, assisting with a last minute request. Highly recommended.

While the place was clean & well-presented, we didn't find it personable as there was no one to greet & ensure guest comfort.

The directions only gave a street & property name so the guest must drive down a long narrow street looking for a property name. The instructions given stated "free parking on the street near the property. It's the quiet end of the village on a no-through road". In reality the parking is limited, over-crowded & very sqeezy. Our vehicle was side-swiped overnight which will necessitate a repair & has taken the shine off our visit to Blockley & The Mews.

What a super cute getaway. It was perfect for us for our quick overnight escape.

Breakfast was not an option

Free parking was advertised but we were not able to access the space as there were vehicles obstructing it. Also the address was 1 Brook Lane and when we arrived in Blockley we found Brook Lane and a property numbered 1 but this turned out not to be the Little Mews but the postcode was the same which was a bit confusing.

The location was lovely, the room was lovely comfortable and warm. Can't say enough good about it.

Parking was a roll of dice, but I wouldn't put it as a bad point as such, just an added quirk to this lovely place.
