The Haukland House, Between Peaks & Sea

Die exklusive Lage direkt beim Haukland Strand, tolle Ausstattung (es gab einfach alles! Waschmaschine, Trockner, Gitterbett, Hochstuhl, Küchenequipment, Spiele, genug Platz...)

Die Alleinlage kann auch etwas unheimlich sein, hat aber einen speziellen Charme. Im Holzhaus gibt es ab und an auch ein paar Krabbeltiere- das ist aber auch normal.

Very good location

Things where difficult to find. We had no telephone connection and had not received the instructions before we stood outside the door. We had to call the number and ask for help. Bad connection then with high mountains When we got in we had to find out where the heater was. Could not put on internet, instructions behind a kitchen cabinet door (we still missed your instructions,you know.) Had to call again! And lots more to find out….toilet paper, where? Kitchen paper? It all took time and was so stressful. Leaving, we had to take out garbage, and instructions was outside black trash cans. They were nowhere to be seen. Luckely a big yellow waste bag, next to the door! We put it all outside! We left the house tidy!

the location was incredible. Mountains behind the cottage; the beach a few metres away; really nice cafe where we had breakfast. Most amazing views from the cottage. One of the best places I have ever found to stay. Completely unspoilt and just perfect!

I can’t think of anything

Oh god this was the coziest little cabin. It was perfect, it had everything you needed (except shampoo, shower gel and conditioner) but it really felt that you were renting a lived-in cabin although perfectly clean and everything in place. It felt nice to stay at a place that felt like someone’s home, for someone from south america, it felt like a really immersive norwegian experience! The location is super nice, it is only 12~ mins from leknes so it is not isolated but it does feel like it when you are there. Sort of like you are staying in the middle of nowhere. For summer this might be the perfect location, for winter, depends on what you like :) to be honest i really enjoyed the location but my family felt it was a bit isolated for a winter stay. Although the drive there between the beaches is so unique and lovely. Be mindful of the wind, it was a bit scary for us at night since you could really hear it, although im sure the cabin is used to those wild winds!
