Ben Wyvis Hotel

Staff very pleasant.

Room clean but poor, (104). High level window with just a roman blind that didn't cover gap, no blackout curtain or blind, (informed no alternatives as they were fully booked). Room and bathroom could benefit from a freshen up as rather dated. Good location but need to invest in the rooms. So many hotels just take bookings for granted from tourists these days sadly. Perhaps warn people at booking if there's not a proper window, (not worried about having a good view, just need comfort when travelling for work).

Make sure, if you are tall , not to get a room on third floor under the roof or you hit your head a few times. Rooms are really small.

Room was very clean and recently refurbished with an excellent view.

Public areas and corridors were a little tired but the rooms were fresh and clean.

The ambience & grandeur of this lovely old Victorian hotel make it something special

No major dislikes at all. Staff were very nice & helpful. It’s not a modern new fancy hotel but to me at least, that’s its charm.

Great location, large room.

Room for disabled guests too close to the Reception. The disabled bathroom had a sink that was too low, practically unusable.

Location, the grounds , period property.

Dated decor, worn furniture.
