The Diamond of Catania Airport

The room itself was lovely, clean and simple. Close to the airport which was really helpful for our flight, although the 10min walk to the airport doesn’t have a path for some of the route.

The area wasn’t as nice as we were expecting, there was only one small cafe open locally from which to get pastries, but not much more food wise. The breakfast was also not very impressive.

Location to airport. We stayed 1 night before flight. Very clean, everything required, provided. Able to have diner very close to b&b. Sofia, the host, very helpful, great recommendations.Used airport shuttlebus to get into city, ( dont get off until after train station) and while we could have walked to airport, we got a transfer provided by Sofia.

Quiet. Air conditioning. Correctly priced and efficient car transfer from airport - very important for arrival after dark.Clean and quiet.

Breakfast very basic - plenty available but products not high quality and several on their expiry date..

Superata la paura del quartiere tutto ok. Non ci tornerei più con un mezzo proprio perchè non ero sicuro di ritrovarlo al mattino. Ma l'host bravissima segnala dove parcheggiare a vista telecamere

Within walking distance of the airport. I used it as a jumping off point for the following day. Access was easy. Instructions received by WhatsApp were clear.

A couple of things weren’t working eg the kettle so I couldn’t have a cuppa in the morning !
