Guest House Sol

This is a smaller, family-run property and you can definitely notice the personal care and attention that's put into running this guesthouse. My room was very clean and the exterior is kept neat. The room had helpful amenities, like a drying rack for wet towels or bathing suits, plates/cups/cutlery for a breakfast or snack in the room, and beach towels on request. And the location is fantastic: super-close to neighborhood gem By the Way Restaurant, which offers good food and good value, and just a short walk down the hill into the Old Town. But for me, what really stood out was the very kind and responsive support for guests. Upon check-in, David took the time to map out recommendations of local spots to check out, even though I had arrived somewhat later at night. In addition, I was having difficulty with my phone's settings for WiFi, and he went above and beyond to help me sort out my situation. Any request was met with a quick, helpful, and positive response. I would definitely stay at Guest House Sol again, and recommend it to others.

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay. David has been very accommodating and helped with recommendations and any requests/support. The facilities were all great. Perfect location close to the old town.

Great location and an easy walk down into the town/waterfront. A very comfortable bed, good little bathroom and great shower. Most of all, the host was fantastic and a really lovely guy. Booking.com have errors in his bookings by saying that airport transfers are included - they are not. He was happy to pay one way for us and we got an uber back. He also offered beach towels and padded beach mats.
