My Status Hotel

Очень понравился номер, все в рабочем состоянии,

Отель достаточно хороший, номера чистые и ухоженные. Прекрасный завтрак, большой выбор блюд, кофе из кофемашины, а не растворимый. Персонал готов помочь и подсказать. Расположение нормальное, ночью тишина, до центра минут 15, но учитывая цену на такси это не существенно. Есть небольшой бассейн и сауна, очень хорошо расслабиться после долгих прогулок.

Минус ставлю только за то, что не хотят принимать оплату картой или рассчитывают по завышенному курсу. Якобы у отеля собственный курс доллара к сому. Но эта проблема у всех мелких отелей. Самим отелем довольна.

The hotel itself was very nice — clean rooms, good breakfast, and overall a comfortable stay. Most things were excellent and we enjoyed the hotel.

However, there was one disappointing situation with one of the staff members. We asked for help arranging transportation, and he added 100,000 UZS to the taxi price so the driver could give that money to him. Later, I also noticed that he texted the driver asking him to charge us an additional 300,000 UZS and split the extra amount with him. I am a foreigner, and although I do not speak the local language fluently, I understand it very well because many of my friends are Uzbek. That is why I understood what was happening. This was honestly disappointing because the employee seemed friendly at first, but the situation made us feel like we were being taken advantage of. I have worked in hotels myself — not only as a manager, but also as a hotel founder — and behavior like this would never be acceptable in my hotel. If he had simply been honest and said he wanted a commission for arranging the taxi, I would not have had a problem with it. Transparency and honesty are very important in hospitality.
