Apartment in Herand, Hardanger

Amazing view of the fjords and landscape

Excellent location just 2 minutes from the ferry jetty (took a wonderful cruise to Eidfjord and back). Some hiking opportunities nearby. Wonderful view on the fjord, we watched the sunset from the terrace every day. A shop that is open 24/7 literally next door. There is also a pizzeria nearby, but it was closed when we were there. The area is very quiet.

really big apartment and easy to find with indications from the parking to the apartment. everything available to cook, nice view, big terrace, bed linen, etc…

didn’t bother me or my dad but my mom really didn’t like the fact you have to get out of th apartment to go to the toilets.

the location is nice and view is beautiful. the apartment is very spacious

the toilet is outside of the apparement and there is no mention of it while booking. the balcony is also outside of the appartement so you basically can’t have your coffee there unless you carry. the amenities are not comfortable- ex. the toilet is super high for an average person the check in felt like a quest as there was no mention of where exactly to go. it’s true that there was my name on the door but I didn’t know that before getting there hence tried reading all instructions trying to find where to go. so just get there and climb the stairs to find out where your name is written :) the overall flat is a little worn out, the bed sheets are super used and the floor was not clean - I walked bare foot and felt quite dirty

Everything was good, the apartment was big and cozy

They did not have a microwave but maybe is normal in Norway.

Stunning view from the living room || location of the flat is very convenient || self check in went great for us || there is 24/7 supermarket in front of the place || you can use the kayak for free || amazing fireplace || free parking || Close to the water || very big place || enough space for everything

It was a bit loud from the apartment above. I think bathroom needs deep cleaning. Toilet for our room was kind of outside the flat at the corridor. Not a big problem, but we found it a but inconvenient in the end.
