"Just rent it, recommend"

View is perfect. You can see all Funchal, marina, cruise ships if any, others ships leaving and returning. And of course Atlantic ocean. Was very nice to sit at terrace and read books at evening or morning. Not far away from city old town (center maybe). No problems with parking car. Beds good, I have problems with spine, so not all mattresses are good for me, but here I never felt any pain or anything, was good night sleep. Also nice dogs and very friendly cat.

Some items need small repairs, but no problems for me, nothing that gets in the way.

"un lugar tranquilo en Funchal"

Muy buen contacto con el propietario. La estancia fue cómoda. La ubicación era excelente y había plaza de aparcamiento. El apartamento era tranquilo, así que podías relajarte y admirar las preciosas vistas desde la terraza. La cocina es grande, así que si sois un grupo, varias personas podéis preparar la comida a la vez. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.

"Exceptional"

Wonderful Accommodation, and we stayed for quite a while. The hosts are lovely and responsive. The view from the balcony was outstanding. There are also two small dogs (belong to the owner's who live nearby) which are adorable and so fun to play with. The house itself is very spacious, and has everything you need. I found the bed very comfortable. Highly recommended. It was a bit high in Funchal landscape, so renting a car might be required (there is also a bus station next to the place).

The only thing was that there was no AC, so in the night it was a bit hot. Maybe supplying a fan would be helpful :)

Check in was very easy, coffee and some local biscuits and cake were provided. Parking space made available in front of the drive in gate.

"Madeira stole our hearts"

Although the mountain roads and getting there caused a little excitement for us, we really liked being here. A quiet, peaceful place with an amazing view and the 2 cutest dogs in the world next door. Everything was great, the rooms, the beds, the whole house. We came away with a heavy heart.

That our vacation is over and we should come home.. ☹️
