Appartamento recentemente ristrutturato con tutti ciò che serve per un soggiorno piacevole, davanti alla spiaggia. Proprietaria molto gentile ci ha fatto trovare anche acqua succhi brioches giochi per i bimbi. La veranda per piacevoli cene e relax super.

The location was incredible! and the hosts were equally as incredible! 10/10 Constanza was very helpful and answered any questions!

Very nice and helpful host, we got some extras, which was really nice 🙂, everywhere was very clean, and cozy, comfortable bed, location was perfect, right next to the beautiful beach, many restaurants nearby.

Everything was great!

It’s difficult to review this apartment as there were so many wonderful things about it, but also some big negatives, see below. The positives are: It’s in an excellent location, on the road alongside the beach. It’s a beautiful, comfortable apartment; we loved the colourful art work. Everything is good quality and well-maintained. It was very clean. We loved the big outdoor terrace. The hosts Constanza and her mother were very friendly, communication on issues with Constanza was speedy. The wifi was very good. Mondello is a lovely place to stay for beach, walks and good restaurants. Good bus service into Palermo.

Hot water - it was day 4 before we got a hot shower, we found out that you had to run the water for at least 5-7 minutes before it got hot, what a waste of water! We never bothered to get hot water in the kitchen nor bathroom basin. There were a lot of flying insects and we both got badly bitten, the bedroom window screen was inadequate, didn’t seal open window (see photo). This screen must be changed. It was hot at night, so we kept the window open, there was a very noisy fan in the bedroom. The air conditioning unit was in living room, but we needed it in bedroom. Toilet, we understood that we couldn’t put toilet paper down it, narrow disposal pipe plumbing system (we’ve lived in Spain, so knew this) paper had to be placed in a small bin; but toilet had difficulty dealing with our human solids, very unpleasant. We were told it was the stormy weather affecting sewage in the area. No handbook to explain how things in apartment worked, where to put rubbish, recycling, buses, where nearest supermarket was, any restaurant recommendations. We would have appreciated basic info, I know most things are available on Google. No microwave, no toaster. Ants - we left plate for a few minutes on bedside table with a few biscuits crumbs, later swarming with ants. Rubbish - had to ask where to take rubbish, in street behind. Found 2 big bins, but no recycling. Later, further up the street saw recycling bins. So we didn’t recycle our rubbish properly through lack of information. Plugs - not standard European sockets, adaptors in them, made it more difficult for our UK plugs with European adaptors, wobbly set up, slower charging

Very nice, clean and peaceful place to stay. The beach was just few meters opposite from the property. The owner was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in and check out the time I requested. Moreover, with great and polite attitude, advised where we could do few food shopping & Taxi requests etc..Will highly recommend to a friend and come back again.
