The Red Caboose Train Carriage

What an experience. The carriage is beautifully restored, and the location is absolutely stunning. It was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. The outside area under the trees, with the hot tub and pool plus the swing in the tree, made you feel so relaxed. Steph was excellent in his communication.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Red Caboose! What a treat to sleep in a beautifully restored train – everything was spotless and so thoughtfully prepared. The wood for the fire was ready and waiting, which made it extra cozy. The host was extremely communicative and responsive, making our stay effortless. My husband is a train enthusiast and this was truly a dream experience for him. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway! Thank you for an amazing getaway, we will definitely be back soon!

Everything. Every detail is well thought out - all you need and don't have personally you can still find in the accommodation. It is a little bit of magic, well maintained and the hosts perfectly cater for you as the guest.

Unique in every way…. Immaculately kept and the views both inside and outside the caboose were gorgeous. The two pools were great- one cool and refreshing on a hot day and the wood heated pool-gorgeous for sunset soaking. Truly an experience to put in the memory bank from eating in the dining cart, to the basins and bathing in an old school world.

It was close to the main road but it wasn’t as bad as it seemed. Didn’t even notice the few cars that passed it wasn’t busy. Mcgregor town does not have much options so head back to Robertson for more.
