Everything was perfect.. The view is unique! Anna and her husband are amazing! We really loved everything and couldn’t imagine the beauty of this place and the kindness of people there 🤍

Beautiful apartment with our own private hot tub. Beach and tavern a 2 min walk away . Yota and Kitty were so helpful and pleasant… we got cakes, wine and croissants delivered … had a great stay

You will need a car as it’s off the beaten track

location was perfect, access to a lovely beach.

The property was lovely; well located but you will need a car to travel to and from. Very local to the airport so after collecting our rental arrived at the property within 10 mins max. 10 mins to Fira and 15 mins to Oia (by car) and easy to get to following Google maps. One of the best views of any property I have ever stayed in (we were in the ground floor left door property which does not have access to the jacuzzi so book the next door property if you want a jacuzzi). The sunrise is sublime in the morning! The facilities were excellent: great cooker, living space, bedroom and bathroom. They think of every little detail for you, brilliant! They were so generous and left little start up food package: tea, coffee, eggs, bread, ham & cheese etc which was so handy arriving with a toddler. The view from the living room and outside on the patio both are wonderful with an undisturbed view of the sea. The bathroom was 5 star! Beautiful rain shower, very spacious and they provide toiletries such as shower gels, mini tooth paste and brush, soaps etc which was a nice touch. Provided extra towels and sensitive skin baby shower gel when they realised we had a young child. Very covid friendly clean apartment. Honestly the host and cleaner were so friendly they could not do enough for you! They were fabulous. Induction hob cooker and great oven. Adequate fridge/freezer for all of your shopping supplies. Netflix TV in the living room for movies in the evening when baby was asleep. Or perhaps star watching on the patio! Bedroom wardrobe was nice, lots of space. Bed was quite firm as it seems new, much like the whole property. The cleaner was so friendly, kind and would do anything for you. Always smiling and making you feel welcome. Great response time if you have any questions through WhatsApp they are quick to reply. Thank you for an amazing stay and unforgettable views of the sea and sunrise. We will definitely return and next time for the jacuzzi apartment!

Nothing! It was perfect, just what our small family required.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sonus Mare, especially the sea views from our patio. We were very well looked after during our stay, the apartment was cleaned regularly including being given fresh towels every couple of days. Picking up the keys was easy, and found a welcome basket including other treats in the fridge. Not to mention Keti spoiling us with a delicious cake on the day of my birthday. As others have pointed out, this is a great and secluded place and you definitely need your own transport to be able to freely move around the island.

Didn't like the fact we were only there for a week, could have happily stayed a lot longer!

The apartment was beautiful, stylish and so comfortable with incredible views! It was immaculately clean on arrival and we were offered additional cleans/new towels during our stay. The hosts, Anna and Yota were fantastic. Communication before our visit was great and they were so accommodating and welcoming / always available if we needed anything without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble and they responded immediately to any questions we had and provided some excellent tips and ideas for meals and activities during our stay. The fridge was stocked with a lovely selection of welcome treats on arrival and since we travelled over Easter we arrived to find a beautiful Easter basket of goodies waiting for us! The apartment had everything we could possibly need. Anna spoilt us by delivering some delicious baked surprises during our stay. This was our first family holiday with our 3 year old and the apartment was perfect for a family /toddler. We all slept so well and felt instantly relaxed and at home. The views from the balcony are simply stunning and the hot tub was lovely. We had a brilliant stay and didn’t want to leave.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like! we did have a hire car for our whole stay and would recommend as the location is off the beaten track - quiet and peaceful (something that we loved!) but having a car meant we could easily get around the island. all the main attractions are within an easy drive.
