Great, fast communication with the friendly host. The view from the living room and 2 bedrooms upstairs is spectacular. The kitchen was very well stocked, with toaster, air fryer, drip coffee machine, aluminum foil, butter paper, olive oil, condiments, and of course all the pots and pans. We cooked everyday and we lacked for nothing, which we REALLY appreciated. Very thoughtful of the host. Also..THAT VIEW. Also, I thought it was very good value given what we paid for our 5 nights in peak summer.

In a 4 bedroom house (all upstairs), there is only one bathroom (downstairs). The stairs are very narrow in their step-width (I could only use them sideways) , and there is a risk of falling if trying to come downstairs to use the bathroom in the night half-asleep. The shower cabin is collapsible, which means there is no way to leave a dry bathroom for the next person, after a shower. We sorely missed a shower caddy, bathroom mat and toilet brush (the host is great and I'm sure this will be fixed soon). From a design perspective I thought the (singular) bathroom was too small given the size of the rest of the house and the number of guests it can accommodate, but hey, I'm no architect :) One other thing is that the closest supermarket is a 17 minute drive, in case that concerns you. It wasn't a big deal for us, we made a big list and did all the shopping in one shot. The bed was a little small for my wife and I including the duvets but that's probably because we're used to a 180cm one.
