Guests highly rate the great location and frequently praise the convenient access.
GBLocation was good. Easy access, within walking distance to most areas in Leeds.
Minor issues like no access to terrestrial tv and no music to listen to.
GBLocation - nice area (the artist's quarter) with the National Armoury a short walk away.
Start with the lies - It is NOT private parking as listed but very limited street parking with no alternative. To pay for it takes 25 minutes opening an account. "River view" - the dock was at 90 degrees from the window thus not really visible. The television had no reception because no aerial or satellite feed. The catchup TV worked but, unless you wanted Al Jazeera or audio readings from the Koran, the only recognisable free app was YouTube.. The bed sat on loose wood bloacks, Missing drawer handle in bedroom. Toilet - one toilet roll and loose seat. The fridge freezer section was so iced up the door wouldn't close - it needed a blow torch and an ice pick to access. No instructions or information on anything., Some ceiling lights out. No bathroom basin sink plug.. Access was a problem because the owner sent some late information via booking.com after we had departed for holiday thus we didn't know the apartment number or floor until we phoned. He also forgot to mention that there are two entrances, one of which doesn't even go up to floor 7 where we were located. I am fed up with apartment owners who are indifferent to their clientelle and only see the operation as a return on investment. I doubt this owner had visited the apartment rcently or, if he had, he should be ashamed.
GBThe bathroom had obviously just been fitted and was lovely.
Everything else, the whole apartment was filthy, stains on the carpet, and the bedding was so dirty we couldn't stay there. We walked in and decided that it was so dirty that we could not stay and walked out.
GBIt was very close to Leeds Armories.
Parking was misleading. Implied that parking was available with apartment but it was not. Freezer was frozen solid.
GBSimply room and cheap price
Hugely disappointed they didn't put the duvet cover for our bedroom before we checked in.
GBBed was fine apart form the bottom sheet kept coming loose. Rooms were spacious and bathroom was clean. There was a small Sainsbury very close by.
First impression when arriving at the main door was that the glass door was all smashed and the lock busted off so not secure as anyone can enter building with door code. A lift ride to floor 7 to be met with some very strong smells in the corridor. Apartment was pretty clean but tiered. Booking.com needs to be updated with correct key code, although it was sent by email. I had to call owner who answered straight away. There was no parking spaces and it was only for 2hrs (except Sunday) if you could find one which is unlikley - the location of the building was a nightmare to find both on waze and google maps as it was beyond the main road meaning you could not see it or locate it, Had to randomly park and then walk around to find it before moving car to multi story that was £13 for 24 hours if you used app. Amenities wise the TV had no freeview you needed a netflix account to watch anything. Some confusion over the wifi code that was on a little card stuck to kitchen cabinet with bluetack but had fallen off - password was on back of modem but it was not clear. The freezer was unusable as it was frozen solid and drawers were all damaged. Breakfast for 2 days consisted of some sort of cereal in Tupperware and 2 sachets of porridge, instant coffee and tea bags with some ling life milk. Please note the window could be opened fully wide which would be a real concern if you had small children - I have never seen this in a high rise before
GBGreat location for the royal armouries, fab Indian restaurant a stones throw away. Lovely and clean and nice view of the dock.
No free parking, but it was only £3 for the day so not too bad. Could do with a bath mat!
GB
GBLocation to Leeds armories
Kettle did not work No mattress protector! Staines on mattress Poor quality bedding and towels Freezers draws were all broken and frosted up could not access The secure access glass door to the whole apartment block was smashed up patched together with tape and only one hinge was secure! Cutlery was very poor quality No bread knife Apartment was generally very tired No hangers for trousers The interior of the apartment block were filthy and stained
GBNothing to like. There is no secure parking. The road is full and not secure and is two hours limit. There is an expensive car park near by but cars had to be broken in to smashed glass.
The apartment is filthy. The sheets were vile cheap dirty uncomfortable. It was the worst place I have stayed. One set of towels for two. There isn’t an onsite secure car park. The main door to the building is hard to find multiple entrances and the instructions did not help, the main door entry system is broke and the glass door is shattered. The whole building stinks and is filthy and the flat stunk of poo
