VILLA PAPA PUTU

Villa Papa Putu: We booked for 5 nights. This villa is quite lovely and private, kitchen well stocked with everything you need other than food, of course, loved the coffee/hot water station. Bedrooms are a good size, 2nd bedroom is bigger than 1st bedroom, Bathroom 1 is nice but getting tired, 2nd bathroom was lovely, plenty of floor space, large shower and nicely laid out. We really enjoyed cooking on the bbq. It was so clean. You will need scooters as this Villa is quite far out, not an issue for us. The pool was wonderful to unwind in after a long day on the scooter, overall a lovely Villa, but it isn't without its issues.

A few things about this Villa that threw me, to get to the 2nd bedroom, you have to walk outside, ok doesn't sound too bad, right? When it's raining, you get saturated, there are no umbrellas provided, it's quite the distance from the kitchen to 2nd bedroom in the rain. Water pressure? There is none, bit of a challenge when you've got long hair that needs to be washed, also hot water, hmmm again there's not much of it. Every lockable door has it's own key, that's 5 keys, again annoying...adjoining neighbours can be loud, especially when they cook 😂, if you're chilling in the back bedroom you will hear everything. There are CCTV cameras overlooking the front entrance and pool/outside areas, not a negative, but I just wanted to mention it. The staff don't come and clean during your stay. After 5 days, it really could have done with it. I couldn't find a vacuum cleaner or broom, or I would have done it myself. It's not a bad villa at all. It could use some tweaking.

I will recommend this villa to everyone who,want to come to Lovina,the host is such a warm person,very,kind...the villa is super clean and very homey....I will definitely come back again..

I loved the spaciousness, having my own private pool and kitchen! The location is quiet and thats what I wanted. Make a stop in Lovina beach for the supermarket to stock up the kitchen and make your own food. You can also call restaurants and get delivery.

Someone was waiting for me when I arrived which was nice. The villa was clean, and the private pool was lovely. It was very quiet in the villa.

The drive from Denpasar airport to the villa took nearly 4.5 hours so this is something to keep in mind. It also costs over $100 each way to get back to Kuta or the airport so if I had known this I would have stayed somewhere closer to Kuta. There are also no basic shops or alcohol shops nearby. So had to get everything delivered and there is limited food options via delivery that is available. The villa is neatly presented. Shower was constantly cold so no hot water, and the air conditioner did not work in the bedroom and so was very hot in the evening. Someone came to visit my villa every day. Not sure who it was but a simple message via WhatsApp to let me know the time of the day they would visit would be appreciated as I was travelling solo female.

When we were in North Bali, we accidentally discovered this accommodation. We had a fantastic stay at Villa Papa Putu. The property was extremely well presented, clean and spacious, fully equipped kitchen and living/dining room. The rooms are decorated with sandstone which make the rooms look beautiful. The swimmingpool is not very big, but it is fantastic for 2 people in a private villa. Our hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, communication was excellent. They offered us a free welcome fruits from the region. Nice location but it needs some attention, for example - it is recommended that you rent/have a scooter in order to get arround. The accommodation overall was comfortable and we would recommend this villa if you are in north Bali!!
