Window could not fully close due to expelier outside from the restaurant - very noisy as a result.

It was in the right location for stop over

No tea/ coffee making in room. No access to water.

The staff was amazing so helpful and friendly

Had late Check In, A/C worked, shower was strong, room was clean. Neighbourhood seemed relatively safe. It’s on a bus line and there’s a ping-pong bar a few blocks away.

Person on TV checked you in, most likely from another country! It was very very ODD never happened in my life before. They used your last 4 digits of your phone number for your room door entrance, which the touchscreen was up for anybody to touch and could’ve seen my phone number. Because I could see someone else’s Hotel portfolio on screen and saw all the different room numbers you could touch the screen and open up other people’s portfolio. They almost ran my credit card on someone else’s portfolio amount which was for three nights versus one night. they had a coffee maker in the lobby that was empty in the morning. Our windows in the bedroom were permanently open. We could not close it so we heard all the motorcycles and car alarms very easy.

My experience at Hotel San Jorge was nothing short of extraordinary. After my original booking was unexpectedly canceled, I arrived in San Juan without any place to stay. From the very first moment, the staff stepped in with genuine care and urgency, finding a way to accommodate me for the first couple of nights despite how complicated the situation was. Over the weekend, the hotel became completely full and I was once again left without options, while most other hotels in the city were also fully booked. Instead of turning me away, they made sure I was safe and allowed me to remain in the lobby. What truly stood out was what happened next: around midnight, when a room unexpectedly became available, they immediately prepared it so I could finally rest and continue my stay. They didn’t have to go to those lengths—but they did Throughout everything, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and sincere. Traveling alone in a new city can be overwhelming, and they made me feel safe, and genuinely cared for. The hotel itself is comfortable, well-maintained, and clearly cared for, but what makes this place truly special is the people behind it. I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel San Jorge to anyone visiting San Juan. It’s not just a place to stay—it’s a place where people truly look out for you.

Overall, considering this is a 2–3 star hotel, it meets expectations in terms of facilities. There is a small buffet area and vending machines available with snacks and drinks.
