CHWe had a short but a wonderful stay at Z-LODGE. It is a Rain season in May but we were lucky- it was storming during night and sunny all day. Beautiful colors of the nature, authentic furniture and fabrics, delicious food and professional staff- short summary about this hotel. Recommended 👌🏻

Everything was excellent!
FRVery mixed feelings about staying at this hotel. The location is excellent—right on the beachfront, with two pools and lots of greenery. The rooms themselves are a bit worn, although clean. In our room, there was no hot water during the last few days due to an issue that couldn’t be fixed. The restaurant is a story on its own. On one hand, the breakfast is good and the dishes from the menu are tasty. On the other hand, the waiting time is extremely long. We stayed in an almost empty hotel and still had to wait over an hour. We then tried ordering in advance for a specific time, but even then a simple salad could take 45 minutes—everyone else finishes eating while you’re still waiting. It’s hard to imagine how long it would take during peak season when the hotel is full.
Another point to consider if you are traveling with children and using extra beds. The additional beds come with mattresses covered in synthetic leather, with just a sheet on top. It gets very hot, and it’s uncomfortable for a child to sleep on.

GBWe had a fantastic stay at Z Lodge! The rooms were amazing, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. It was extremely peaceful and felt fully immersed in the nature. One of my highlights was seeing the bush babies in the evenings! I will definitely be back! Highly recommend
AUBeautiful room with both air-conditioning and ceiling fan for hot nights. Clean pool and view of the beach. The staff were very kind and accommodating. The restaurant meals were delicious and well priced. Overall was an excellent stay and good value for money.
Kiwengwa is a little bit further away from the main tourist area so this is perfect for a quiet get away, but a bit more of a drive for sightseeing activities.
